FICA-APAEA Inaugural International Conference – Asia-Pacific Regulatory Centre

Our Executive Director, Joel Abraham, represented APRC at the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants & Asia Pacific Applied Economics Association Inaugural International Conference held on 7 November, 2025.Mr. Abraham delivered an insightful presentation on “Building National Resilience through Climate Finance: Bridging Governance, Access, and Accountability” and joined a distinguished panel discussion on advancing sustainable economic and regulatory practices across the region.In his address, he highlighted:
– The role of effective regulation and governance in enabling climate finance access
– The importance of reframing resilience and aligning efforts with the 2050 Strategy for the Blue Pacific Continent
– Practical pathways forward through collaboration, accountability, and evidence- based policy.

Through these engagements, APRC continues to strengthen partnerships and promote regulatory excellence to support a resilient, inclusive, and sustainable Pacific region 🌊🌿
